The xx

The xx don’t look like they sound. Looking at their press photo you would expect them to play Hardcore Punk or perhaps sound like the Cure. They actually sound very mellow combining Indie, R&B and electronica in a warm sleepy package. To save me pushing my limited music describing talents any further just peep the video of Crystalised below.

The xx’s debut which was recorded in XL’s back office will be released on the 17th of August in all good and some bad record shops.

    If you are a fan of The XX check out “the big pink” another nice band who seem to be doing fairly well at the moment… Kinda shoegazy/mybloodyvalentine ish stuff its good!

    Have you guys heard the ominus Dubstep remix made for the xx?
    I am so fascinated by it. the songs are already so catchy but lend themselves to the Dub with no delay. Good band great stuff, hope 2 hear more from them
