Video of the Week: Experimental Tribute

“This is a brief tribute I made to the experimental work of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop who recently staged a performance in London, that I couldn’t attend. All the sounds and loops originate from the BC8 synth, the Gakken SX-150 synth and the BugBrand Weevil synths. All the effects and processing is done with the Boss pedals. Oh yeah… and I did the whole thing ‘upside down’.”

Video of the Week: Bringing Colour to Life

This week’s video is unusual in that it is an advert. I usually prefer to include short films by unknown directors but this video is definitely worth seeing particularly for those with an interest in photography and the physics of sound. It shows how Canon’s latest Pixma advert was created. If you haven’t seen the final ad yet here it is, it features amazing sculptures created by bringing together paint and sound.
